"I love HPAC because":
To me, one of the greatest strengths of HPAC is its sense of community -
everyone genuinely cares about the other members of the church. But
everyone who goes there will say that. Personally, I really appreciate
the thoughtful way everyone in the church approaches their faith. We all
seek to know God better, and I've profited immensely from sermons, Adult
Education classes, and discussions with many people in the congregation;
we also genuinely try to incorporate our faith into our daily lives.

What I like most about HPAC is the dynamic of the congregation. It's
nice to go to church in a place where the pastor and church family
understand the personal struggles and stress of being a graduate student
and can show and teach us how to devote more of our time to God, even
when we feel like we might not have any time left.

I love the incredible stimulation that comes from having conversations
with a half dozen people over coffee after the service. Interesting
people. Brilliant people. People from the four corners of the earth,
studying in a wide panoply of esoteric and cutting-edge research fields,
who bring their discovered treasures to the feet of the Lord of the
universe. It's also great acoustics for praise music in this small,
arched-ceiling "upper room"; a few voices can fill the place!
