Welcome to Hyde Park Alliance Church, an evangelical congregation of the Christian & Missionary Alliance pastored in interim by Dr. Gene Smillie. Hyde Park Alliance Church began meeting in January 1982 as a small fellowship, moving into our present location in a 100+ year old Hyde Park mansion in May 1985.

We are located at 5139 S. Dorchester Avenue in Hyde Park, a neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Worship services and adult education are held on the third floor of a 100+ year old Hyde Park mansion; children's and nursery ministries are held on the second floor.
Mission Statement
Hyde Park Alliance Church exists to establish and equip dedicated believers who bear witness to Jesus Christ in all levels of professional and academic life. God has set Hyde Park Alliance Church in this time and place to accomplish this mission by winning, training, discipling, and mentoring students at the University of Chicago who will carry His message throughout the United States and around the world.
